Guiyang and Gui'an drive forward with sci-tech collaboration

The Guiyang City-Gui'an New Area University-Government-Enterprise Cooperation Special Event was held at Guizhou Minzu University in Gui'an, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 24.

The event was attended by representatives and experts from universities in Guizhou, over 180 research institutions, investment and financing companies, and key technology enterprises. They gathered to discuss the integration of industry and education and the synergy between science and education, aiming to boost the development of new quality productive forces in Guiyang and Gui'an.

This event further established a bridge for cooperation among universities, local governments, and enterprises.

Focusing on key industries in Guiyang and Gui'an, such as big data electronic information, new energy vehicle batteries and materials, and advanced equipment manufacturing, the event aimed to promote the practical application of sci-tech achievements from universities. It emphasized industrial collaborative innovation, incubation of enterprises, and university-government-enterprise cooperation to achieve precise matching of sci-tech achievements with market needs.

During the event, Gui'an New Area and universities in Guizhou held a signing ceremony for university-government cooperation.

Experts and professors from various universities in Guizhou recommended sci-tech achievements on-site and hosted an exhibition of outstanding sci-tech achievements at Guizhou Minzu University.
