Guiyang's Global Big Data Exchange receives national honor

The Global Big Data Exchange in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently announced as one of the "top 10 national data trading platforms" at the "Data Asset High-Quality Development Conference", which is part of the National Data Asset Solutions Sub-forum.

This assessment was conducted by the Guomai Group's Guomai Data Asset Assessment Center and Hunan Guomai Yuandao Data Technology Co. It evaluated national data trading platforms based on information release, platform services, interactive communication, and user experiences.

The Guiyang Global Big Data Exchange, established in 2015, was the first data circulation trading center in China. It is a pioneer in exploring the development of data element markets.

In 2023, it introduced national data trading rules and launched the country's first data product trading price calculator. As of Jan 15, the exchange had attracted 777 data vendors and 79 data intermediaries, listed 1,523 products, and achieved a total transaction volume of 25.14 billion yuan ($349.47 million).
