The Global Big Data Exchange in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has generated 359 million yuan ($51.58 million) in the value of transactions so far this year.
After an upgrading at the start of 2022, the exchange released China's first data trading rule system and became a data circulation and trading platform serving the entire country.
Currently, the exchange has 402 traders, with 202 from Guizhou. It provides 607 big data products, including 438 data products and services, and 109 government data products.
In addition, it has closed 136 deals so far this year, 59 of which are related to data products and services.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Global Big Data Exchange to continue to improve the industry supply chain for data circulation and trading, and provide policy support.
Furthermore, it will aim to boost the data supply and create a data circulation and trading market system that enables trading to be more regulated and marketized.
