National big data engineering lab launched in Guiyang

A national big data application technology engineering lab for improving governance was launched in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 12.

The lab was co-established by the Guiyang government and State-owned company Tai Chi Information Technology Co of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.

Headquartered in Beijing, the company is a leader in China's military electronics industry and network information. This major provider of comprehensive digital solutions possesses crucial technologies in national defense, public security, information security and digital economy.

In the future, Guiyang and the company will give full play to their advantages in industrial development, policy, technology, resources and talent, and carry out cooperation in industrial attraction, talent training and big data application.

They will undertake national key scientific research tasks and major projects from national ministries and administrations to launch big data application R&D and related projects.
