Guiyang HIDZ firms picked as big data talent training bases

Three companies based in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently made them onto the list of businesses selected to be a Guizhou Big Date Talent Training Base.

The decision was announced by the Guizhou Provincial Big Date Bureau on Dec 13 and a total of 10 enterprises from Guizhou province made the cut this year.

The three firms from the Guiyang HIDZ are: Guizhou Duobao Internet Service Co, Guizhou Cloud Big Data Industry Development Co and Guizhou E-commerce Cloud Operation Co.

A big data talent training base is regarded as being an important platform and carrier for attracting and training people and promoting the role of talent generally.

The enterprises making the list will focus on the development needs of the big data industry in Guizhou province, helping to solve the current labor shortage and to improve the quality and practical abilities of the workforce.

Moreover, the firms are expected to cooperate with universities inside and outside the province – to jointly provide theoretical teaching and practical guidance to develop big data training.
