Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has carried out the digital and intelligent transformation of industrial enterprises this year to accelerate new industrialization and speed up the development of the real economy.
To date, the city has promoted the implementation of 212 big data fusion application projects, helping 469 enterprises integrate with big data technologies. The city also implemented 35 intelligent transformation projects in the fields of equipment manufacturing and pharmaceutical manufacturing from January to July this year.
Located in Guanshanhu district, Zhongan Technology Co is a prime example of Guiyang's digital and intelligent transformation efforts.
Established in 2019, Zhongan Technology Co is a modern manufacturing company integrating the R&D, manufacture and sale of wires and cables with voltage levels of 35 KV and below.
According to Zhou Xinyi, deputy general manager of the company, 81 production lines in the company's five workshops have embraced intelligent transformation.
"Before intelligent transformation, the company still relied on manual experience to set various parameters and control the entire process, leaving strong potential for the cost of production," Zhou said. "Now workers just need to set production parameters for the intelligent equipment, greatly improving the qualification rate of wires and cables."
With the help of big data, the company's output value has reached 750 million yuan ($117.27 million) since intelligent production lines began operating this year. Zhou said that the output value should reach 1.5 billion yuan by the end of this year.
"We will build a complete digital intelligent workshop within three years to expand into the electrical market," Zhou added.
