Cloud search platform helps bolster government services

Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has effectively improved the quality of its government services through an intelligent cloud search platform on its official website.

Data showed that the platform received 70,000 search queries since it first went into operation in August.

The search platform can reportedly greatly improve the accuracy of searches so as to improve the efficiency of government services through intelligent semantic segmentation, automatic clustering, keyword retrievals and other technologies.

In addition, the search platform can analyze the data structure and users' demands to provide search functions with customized government characteristics, which greatly improves the usability of search engines.

To date, the search platform has concentrated on search resources from various official Guiyang municipal department websites.

All resources are updated every hour, to greatly improve the comprehensiveness of the portals' search functions.
