The Guiyang fire department in the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province took the lead in launching a WeChat mini program to create a quicker and more efficient firefighting alarm system, according to local officials.
The intelligent firefighting alarm platform successfully received and dealt with more than 10 alarms in three days since it was put into trial operations on March 17.
After signing in to participate in the new platform, users need to complete their real name authentication according to the instructions.
The platform can then automatically obtain a users' name, ID card number, contact number and precise location based on Tencent cloud services when they push the alarm button.
The command center of the Guiyang fire department will analyze the fire according to photos from the scene uploaded by users, so as to scientifically save the rescue time and properly dispatch firefighters.
Officials said that the Guiyang fire department would start the construction of the second phrase of Intelligent Firefighting Big Data Project this year.
In addition, it will accelerate the construction of a fire cause investigation and analysis system, a fire risk analysis and early warning system, as well as a portal for integrated intelligent fire services.
