Guizhou, Guangzhou jointly promote industrial cooperation

Southwest China's Guizhou province is making positive efforts to improve its business environment, thanks to a series of supporting policies from Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong province. 

Guangdong, a province designated to help Guizhou out of poverty, has issued a couple of detailed measures to introduce more enterprise investment in Guizhou, including a preferential policy on investment attraction and poverty alleviation for Guizhou's city industries. 

Statistics show that in 2019 Guangdong invested in 429 projects worth 113.88 billion yuan ($16.34 billion) in Guizhou, of which 422 have come into construction and 152 have been put into operation. 

The two province's close cooperation will be highlighted at a conference for industrial cooperation, which will be held Nov 9, with participants from Guangdong's top 500 enterprises and some commerce associations. 

Guizhou, as a key pilot province strong in transport, is giving full play to its geographic advantages. By taking part in the construction of the New International Land-sea Corridor, the province is rapidly expanding its well-connected transportation network.
