Committee for logistics big data set up in GETDZ

A founding ceremony for a special committee – for logistics big data at the National Technical Standard Innovation Base of Guiyang Big Data – took place on Sept 25, according to local media reports.

It was held at Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, GETDZ officials said.

The establishment of the logistics big data committee aims to promote the high-quality development of the logistics big data industry.

This is through setting up a collaborative innovation platform, exploring standard market-oriented innovation models, developing logistics big data standards and developing standard big data public services, officials added.

The committee is composed of 17 participating members and is one of 14 sub-committees of the National Technical Standard Innovation Base of Guiyang Big Data.

Members of the committee will work together to integrate resources, provide basic organizational structure guarantees, establish talent training mechanisms and establish a standardized talent team.

At the same time, members of the committee will actively carry out standard developments and promote Guizhou big data innovation technology by forming group standards and industry standards.

Furthermore, members will make use of various channels to carry out publicity and promotion.

They will strengthen the team of the special committee and then promote the strategic development of Guizhou big data – as well as accelerating the construction of the Guiyang National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Area.
