Guiyang attends 2019 Shanghai Mobile World Congress

A Guiyang delegation attended the 2019 Mobile World Congress (MWC) at the Shanghai News Expo Center on June 26. The delegation was made up of representatives from the Guiyang Municipal Government Information Office, the Publicity Department of the CPC Guiyang Municipal Committee, the Guiyang Bureau of Big Data Development and Management and teams of the Big Data Expo Executive Committee, Big Data Expo Corporation, the Guiyang Municipal High and New Technology Industry Promotion Center (digital expo secretariat), Block Data Corporation, the Beijing International Exhibition Center and China Big Data Industry Observation.

A participant at the MWC in Shanghai for five consecutive years, Guiyang focused on demonstrating its capabilities as "China Data Valley", showing its achievements in big data application, introducing its big data industry development policy and publishing 2019 digital expo outcomes. Guiyang also introduced the influence and international recognition of Big Data to further promote the brand, and made good preparations for 2020 Big Data Expo promotion.

The digital expo stage attracted about 1,000 people. The number of followers of the Big Data Expo's official WeChat account increased by 301, which was the highest since the conclusion of the digital expo. It was also reported on CCTV's finance channel and other media.
