Guiyang advances affordable housing projects

The Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development has dispatched a team to conduct field visits to affordable housing projects in Yunyan, Nanming, Huaxi, and Guanshanhu districts, Qingzhen city, and the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, helping improve project construction and management.

The visits focused on key areas, including construction progress, funding, housing leasing, and the allocation of homes to eligible residents. For stalled or delayed projects, the team examined issues related to construction procedures, funding, and completion and delivery, and worked with relevant parties to develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.

At the Haozhi affordable housing project in Guanshanhu district, the team reviewed preparations to resume construction and called for equal attention to progress, quality, and management. It also urged the project developer to plan leasing operations in advance and assess potential demand.

At the Jiaxiu South Road affordable housing project in Huaxi district, the team reviewed apartment layouts, construction quality, and supporting facilities, and discussed sales prices and preparations for delivery.

At an affordable housing project in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the team provided on-site guidance on housing rentals and urged projects ready for occupancy to launch leasing promptly, allowing eligible residents to move in as soon as possible.
