Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Phase II main stadium nears completion

The main stadium of the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Phase II, located in the core area of Guanshanhu district, is nearing completion. With a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan ($185 million) and a total construction area of 130,000 square meters, the project comprises the main stadium, training facilities, auxiliary buildings, a basement, and outdoor amenities, all built to the highest standards for large-scale first-class venues.

The venue is designed to host national-level sports competitions and large-scale cultural performances. Additionally, it will be open to the public for fitness activities and trendy cultural events, addressing the region's lack of high-end cultural and sports infrastructure.

The Guiyang Tourism Development Group, a municipal State-owned enterprise, has formed a dedicated preparation team to oversee stadium operations, commercial facilities, and brand partnerships. The venue is now open to collaboration and residency from various organizations and brands.
