Guiyang's housing and construction department has published its fifth batch of qualified projects for the "old-for-new housing exchange" initiative, adding six new residential complexes in Qingzhen and one in Shuanglong district, and filling gaps in projects for those areas. Across five rounds of activities, a total of 33 residential complexes have been launched, spanning nine Guiyang districts.

The initiative collaborates with 33 property developers, three real estate agencies, and seven banks, offering citizens a one-stop service via the official pre-owned housing platform. Services include old property consignment sales, new home selection, and loan arrangements.

Developers provide up to 10 percent discounts on new-home purchases along with a minimum 60-day contract cancellation protection period. Agency fees are capped at 2.5 percent of the final property transaction price.

Statistics show that 91 households have submitted applications for house exchanges, with 84 properties listed for sale and six new-home purchase agreements signed. The policy streamlines the transaction chain for old and new properties, while tax and fee subsidies effectively reduce the overall costs for residents switching homes.
