The latest data showed that as of April 22, Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province had signed 30 projects since the beginning of this year, achieving more than half of its annual investment attraction target of 30 billion yuan.
Since the beginning of this year, Gui'an has regarded investment attraction as its top priority. It has established eight industrial chain investment attraction teams involving the Gui'an management committee, government departments, industrial parks, and State-owned enterprises, as well as towns and townships, making the investment attraction process more standardized and efficient.
Meanwhile, Gui'an has taken advantage of activities, such as attracting fund to Guizhou, cherry blossom season industry matchmaking sessions, and the visit of the secretaries-general of the chambers of commerce from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Guizhou, so as to promote project implementation.
It has also followed up on signed projects, projects under negotiation, and target enterprises to provide comprehensive services throughout the entire lifecycle of the investment attraction process. This has included finding investment opportunities, negotiation, signing, implementation, and production.
Next, Gui'an will highlight the roles of eight investment attraction teams, three industrial parks, two platform companies, and four townships, towns and sub-districts, as well as numerous third-party investment attraction entities to focus on these major industries: big data electronic information manufacturing, new energy vehicles, batteries and materials, and advanced equipment manufacturing.
Gui'an will also emphasize investment attraction initiatives in industrial projects, the digital economy, central government-owned enterprises, standard factories, headquarters economy, industrial chains, funds, and industrial park platforms, in order to cultivate new quality productive forces.
