Direct drinking water project signed in Guiyang

Guiyang Railway Construction International City – an international habitat demonstration community in Guiyang's urban planning – and the Guiyang Water Group held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation project for the introduction of direct drinking water from pipelines.

According to reports, the signing of the agreement will pave the way for a long-term and stable strategic partnership in the construction of the project.

Xu Guixian, deputy general manager of the Guizhou Branch of China Railway Construction Real Estate  Group Co – the operators of Guiyang Railway Construction International City, said that this was the first project in Guizhou where a direct drinking water system from pipelines was being used in the whole community.

Xu said the company would rely on Guiyang Water Group's practical experience in the water treatment industry to keep abreast of the latest technical information in the industry.

With 24/7 real-time water quality monitoring and 24/7 double-pipe network circulation – as well as ozone, ultraviolet sterilization and other water processes that are used by the group – the Guizhou branch would provide community residents with high-quality drinking water, he added.
