Guiyang's bureau issues atlas of rural housing

To improve rural housing construction and ensure the housing needs of villagers, the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development, together with other municipal bureaus, recently issued the General Atlas of Rural Housing in Guiyang.

According to the Guiyang Town (Township) Village Architectural Style Guidelines and the actual situation, Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development arranged for the design team to conduct on-the-spot investigations in various districts and counties, and extensively solicited opinions from villagers.

The atlas is divided into one volume for scheme designs and 10 volumes for construction drawings and renderings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and drawings of buildings, structures, water, and electricity, which can be referred to as "one-stop" instructions for building rural houses.

The design scheme integrates a variety of local traditional cultures, extracts architectural elements such as roofs and walls from common farm houses, and consists of a total of 10 common user types according to the number of floors, floor space, and living characteristics. Each user type is matched with seven architectural styles to achieve an organic balance between architectural style and residential application.
