Guiyang investigates gas safety risks

Guiyang recently held a work deployment meeting for the "Hundred Day of Action" for urban gas safety rectification at the municipal housing and urban-rural development bureau.

It was requested at the meeting that from now until the end of October, related departments focus on key places such as commercial and residential complexes, farmers' markets, old communities, catering enterprises, gas stations, gas pipeline facilities and other important parts of the city and conduct in-depth investigations of potential problems and illegal behaviors.

At the meeting, the current situation of gas safety in Guiyang was analyzed, and the "Hundred Day of Action" for the city's urban gas safety rectification was formulated.

Civil air defense, physical defense, technical defense and other measures are required to comprehensively promote the construction of gas information systems and ensure that the operation of gas pipelines and the production and circulation of bottled liquefied gas are properly supervised. Related departments must ensure that gas leaks are detected and dealt with as soon as possible to reduce safety risks to the utmost extent.

The special inspection team will visit various districts, counties, and development zones to supervise "Hundred Day of Action" work related to urban gas safety rectification, discover problems in a timely manner, and track rectifications and settlements within a limited time.
