Guiyang sets up awards to improve safety construction

A total of 37 projects were recommended by the housing and construction departments of various districts, counties and development zones in the first half of 2022 to apply for a civilized model construction site in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The award is intended to encourage enterprises to become safe and civilized construction model sites. In addition, the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development improves the selection criteria for model construction sites each year. In 2021, Guiyang listed 10 smart construction technologies such as PM2.5 and PM10 dust monitoring instruments and noise monitoring instruments as prerequisites for consideration.

On July 18, the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development set up three selection working groups to jointly carry out the selection work. Projects that meet the requirements were given the title of "municipal civilized model site and construction safety standardization demonstration project", and at the same time, projects that have won the municipal title were recommended to apply for the provincial title.

In recent years, the proportion of projects in Guiyang that have won the provincial title has remained at 35-40 percent, ranking first in the province.
