Guiyang promotes steady development of real estate

The Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development held a forum to promote a steady development of the real estate market on Feb 16. 

Leaders of the bureau, relevant offices' personnel, and representatives from 35 housing enterprises attended the meeting.

Li Hongwei, director of the bureau, brought forward different suggestions to the bureau, related offices, and housing enterprises. From the suggestions is that the bureau should strengthen its supervision over the real estate market and create a fair and orderly market environment.

He asked from the related offices to help enterprises handle formalities in the earlier stages of their projects, and guarantee services along the process of the projects' construction. Housing enterprises were requested to practice corporate social responsibility and regulate their business behavior.

Lai Zhenglin, deputy director of the bureau, announced the implementation of civil water and electricity prices, the reduction of urban infrastructure fees, and other preferential policies.

Additionally, he encouraged housing enterprises to take an active part in the construction of affordable rental housing units in Guiyang.
