Guiyang establishes talent apartment supply system

News from Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development suggested that Guiyang is forming a talent apartment supply system to meet diversified housing demands for different kinds of high-quality personnel, who are entitled to use these apartments after meeting certain requirements.

The initiative is being led by the government and operated by the market, with the apartments often located in locations that have dense workforce populations and relatively complete residential infrastructure.

There are four types of talent apartments targeting senior talents, young talents, and other two other categories of personnel.

After being approved, applicants for senior talent apartments are allowed to live in the units without paying rent for the first three years, and pay the lowest level of rent for an additional two years.

The senior staff apartment accommodation is situated in the Guanshanhu district and is equipped with high-end furniture and appliances. A service hall, a theater and recreational areas are built inside the apartment buildings to meet distinct social needs.

It is said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), Guiyang and Guian New Area will build 100,000 indemnificatory rental houses, and 70 percent of them are for talents, especially for college students soon to graduate.
