Work meeting on building industry held

The Guiyang housing and urban-rural development bureau held a symposium to evaluate the overall performance of the building industry.

According to the meeting, the industry's total output growth is required to reach 15 percent, and is expected to hit 18 percent at most.

The bureau called for coordination among housing departments at all levels, as well as strengthened communication with enterprises involved in order to better understand how they operate.

Efforts will be redoubled to support firms in building sectors, summarize issues in the renovation works of old residential areas and shanty towns, and shorten the government procedure handling period.
