Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been accelerating the construction of 15-minute community-living circles, which allows residents to obtain basic necessities and services within a 15-minute walk.
The circle is meant to improve the quality of people's daily lives.
According to Zhang Mingfen, a Yunyan district local, she can now walk to a vegetable shop within 13 minutes. Her family is also able to visit a forest park within an eight-minute drive. And physical exercise facilities, convenience stores and a fresh produce supermarket have all opened around her community.
