Guiyang focuses on human-centered city renewal

Li Hongwei, director of the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development, stressed in a recent interview the importance of pressing forward with the city renewal campaign in Guiyang, which mainly includes building 15-minute community living circles, establishing enough parking lots and farm produce markets, and strengthening the renovation of shanty towns, old residential areas, and laneways.

He said that by the end of 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Guiyang and Guian New Area should have completed their public service facilities, and built a high-quality living space that benefits people's health and safety.
