In response to the requirements of the State Council, the Guiyang bureau of housing and urban-rural development has arranged teachers on Oct 14-18 to launch special training sessions on building investigations for natural disasters in Guiyang's 10 districts, cities and counties.
A total of 1,040 people, including district government officials responsible for building investigations, leaders in related departments in towns and counties, and service personnel from third-party institutions, attended the training sessions.
They have been imparted with professional knowledge about the building investigation, and have been taught how to make use of special software systems to aid in the process.
The bureau has given out 730 publicity posters and 690 brochures during the sessions.
