Guiyang, Guian launch 46 projects during Q3

Guizhou's ceremony for major projects over the third quarter of this year was held on Sept 28, signaling the commencement of construction on 388 projects with a total investment of 141.1 billion yuan ($21.17 billion). Among the projects, 46 are based in Guiyang and Guian New Area, including 14 new industrialization projects, 28 urbanization projects, and four agricultural modernization projects.

Since the beginning of 2021, the governments of Guiyang and Guian have been prioritizing these projects as an important way to expand investment and stabilize economic growth.

Statistics show that from January to August, there were 104 new projects involving new industrialization, IT application, urbanization, and agricultural modernization in Guiyang. Investment in place was valued at 31.12 billion yuan, exceeding the yearly investment goal by 46 percent.
