Integrated housing provident fund management sees results

A work conference for the Guiyang-Guian integrated housing provident fund management was held on Sept 8, partly to mark the first anniversary of the founding of the Guian branch of the Guiyang housing provident fund management center.

The achievements made, as well as valuable experience gained over the past year in integrated management, were concluded during the conference.

The Guiyang housing provident fund management center has made full use of the opportunities given, and has practiced the new development concept. The two regions now have accomplished the unified decision and policy making, managing, and accounting related to the fund.

This integration has largely made it more convenient for firm employees running for the housing provident fund affairs, and has reduced government spending on fund management.

The government department number of the Guian New Area has now been reduced to 12 from the original 42, and more than 180 social affair management authorities have been transferred to the Guiyang government.

In addition, the number of housing provident fund items that can be handled either in Guiyang or Guian has been expanded to 23 from the original three.

The Guian branch has been promoting an online service model – publicity brochures are issued to offer guidance to the public in online government affairs, while the branch organizes training sessions for staff members at social units and enterprises in charge of fund affairs in order to optimize work efficiency.
