Along with the resilient recovery of the national macro-economy, the per capita disposable income of Guiyang's urban residents stood at 22,885 yuan ($3,432.75) during the first half of this year, a nominal growth of 11.1 percent year-on-year, while the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 9,818 yuan, a nominal increase of 14 percent year-on-year.
Four major types of income have risen at high speeds during this period. The average wage, the average net family income, the average net property income, and the average net transfer income for urban residents were 14,086 yuan, 3,373 yuan, 2,440 yuan, and 2,986 yuan, increasing 5.8 percent, 33.7 percent, 4.4 percent, and 23 percent year-on-year, respectively. The numbers for rural residents were 5,809 yuan, 2,862 yuan, 201 yuan, and 946 yuan.
The disposable income growth rate among rural residents is significantly higher than that of urban residents, and the income gap between rural and urban areas has been further narrowed, with the rural-urban disposable income ratio narrowed to 2.33:1 from 2.46:1 over the same period in 2019.
