XIU Coffee, located in a karst cave in Xiuwen county's Xiangbahu village, is highly popular among consumers thanks to its immersive integration of natural landforms and coffee culture.

The cafe's design team had long been searching for geographically representative natural spaces in Guizhou's mountains and wilderness before they discovered this karst cave during a routine exploration.
Only basic leveling was done on uneven surfaces during the interior design and renovation, with no damage to stalactites, rock walls, or ground structures. Minimalist lighting was used to outline the cave, paired with soft furnishings, allowing the rock textures and green moss to take center stage.

Beyond its unique space, the cafe's offerings also highlight distinctive local characteristics; its signature drink, the "Xiuwen Americano", features Xiuwen kiwifruit as its core ingredient, blending native produce with coffee culture. Highly popular among consumers, this beverage has become a vivid medium for sharing Xiuwen's regional culture.

According to Xu Hui, XIU Coffee's manager, the cafe received nearly 40,000 visitors and registered 80,000 members on its WeChat mini-program from its opening in August 2025 until the end of the year.
The company also launched a "coffee + paddleboarding" program last year, attracting more than 300 participants during its 15-day trial operation. More programs, such as "coffee + hiking" and "coffee + stream trekking" are also being prepared for this year, aiming to boost the development of Guiyang's cultural and tourism industry.
