Xiuwen promotes green transformation

To further promote the prevention and control of air pollution, the Xiuwen branch of the Guiyang ecological environment bureau aims to reduce emissions of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide, strengthen guidance and assistance, and inject momentum into the green transformation of regional industries.

Since October this year, the Xiuwen branch has been inviting provincial and municipal experts to provide on-site guidance to enterprises, learn about project construction progress in real-time, coordinate and solve difficult problems in the renovation process, and ensure that the project is completed on time.

After implementing ultra-low emission transformation, the emission of atmospheric pollutants in enterprises has significantly decreased. On the basis of meeting environmental protection standards, optimizing production supporting systems can further reduce energy consumption and improve resource utilization efficiency, achieving improvement of economic and environmental benefits.

In 2024 and 2025, Xiuwen county has implemented four key projects in an effort to achieve ultra-low emissions and accumulated 25.78 million yuan ($3.63 million) in special funds to support the upgrading and transformation of enterprises. These measures have not only promoted the green transformation of key industrial enterprises in the jurisdiction, but also led to improvements in the quality of the local environment, enhancing Xiuwen's capacity to maintain a cleaner atmosphere.
