China (Xiuwen) Yangming Cultural Park was declared a social science popularization base in Guizhou province as its unveiling ceremony on Dec 15.
Located in Xiuwen county of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the park is a cultural and tourism complex built in the Yangming Cave ancient ruins area.

On Sept 30, 2017, it was rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot and has won the coveted titles of national social science popularization base, national primary and secondary school research practice base and Guizhou humanities and social science demonstration base.
The Yangming Cave ancient ruins area, which is located inside the park, is where Confucian master Wang Yangming attained enlightenment and gave lectures 500 years ago. It is the birthplace of Yangming's philosophy. In 2006, it was rated a national key cultural relic protection unit.
Since its opening in Oct 2016, it has received more than 900,000 tourists.
