Xiuwen named Guizhou Garden County

Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been recently named the Guizhou Garden County, with the approval of the People's Government of Guizhou Province.  

Xiuwen has placed great importance on urban landscaping and ecological environment construction in recent years. The county has continuously optimized its urban planning and improved the functions of its green spaces.

Various projects have been undertaken, such as constructing and upgrading sites like Wanyiwo Ruins Park and Yangming Cultural Park.

The county has also witnessed significant improvements in protecting historical and cultural heritage, ancient trees, open and shared parks and green spaces, and the naturalization rate of water bodies.

Xiuwen has an urban green space coverage rate of 35.37 percent and a per capita park green space area of 14.26 square meters.

Moving forward, Xiuwen will continue to promote urban renewal and improve the comprehensive management level of the city. This will make Xiuwen even more beautiful and livable.
