E-commerce helps Xiuwen kiwi fruit be sold across the country

Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made full use of resources and platforms such as Douyin and Kuaishou to carry out livestream sales events, promoting its kiwi fruit across the country.

The Xiuwen County E-commerce Public Service Center and Xiuwen E-commerce Association have set up six standardized shared livestreaming rooms.

By offering services such as data analysis of livestreaming platforms, interactive strategy formulation, sales training, and equipment procurement subsidies, they have already provided livestreaming services to more than 70 kiwi fruit enterprises and anchors, with 15 local livestreaming sales experts cultivated.

This year, Xiuwen produced around 100,000 metric tons of kiwi fruit.

To further expand sales channels and ensure a strong market, network anchors have recently conducted experiential livestreaming events covering the entire process of picking, packaging, and delivery, introducing the brand and features of Xiuwen kiwi fruit to consumers.

So far, more than 955,000 orders of Xiuwen kiwi fruit, or approximately 3.6 million kilograms, have been sold through e-commerce platforms.
