Xiuwen builds 10 smart sorting lines for kiwi fruit

This year, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has actively sought funding support to improve the production and operation of its kiwi fruit industry. As a result, the county has added three new smart sorting lines for the industry.

There are currently a total of 10 smart sorting lines in the county, with daily sorting capacity increasing from 100 metric tons to 300 tons. This upgrade has led to more efficient and precise sorting, thereby improving the quality of Xiuwen kiwi fruit and helping to increase its value.

With a planting area of 167,000 mu (11,133.33 hectares), kiwi fruit is the leading industry in Xiuwen and a key industry for boosting farmers' incomes.

The county has utilized its technological advantages to produce over 100,000 tons of fresh kiwi fruit in 2023.

These smart production and sorting lines for kiwi fruit are further modernizing Xiuwen county's kiwi fruit industry.
