A project related to the live pig industry of Guizhou province was launched in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 19.
It aims to accelerate the collaboration between the government, universities, and enterprises in the live pig industry, enhance the technological service and support capabilities of the agricultural industry in Guizhou, and promote rural vitalization.
During the ceremony, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China Agricultural University, and Guizhou Forryea Group signed a cooperation agreement.
The Xiuwen county people's government, Li Defa, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Guizhou Forryea Group signed a cooperation agreement on the co-construction of academician workstations to support rural vitalization.
Xiuwen county's bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, Guizhou Forryea Group, banks, insurance companies, the Guizhou Pig Industry Association, and live pig farmers also signed a six-party strategic cooperation framework agreement.
In addition, Xiuwen and Guizhou Forryea Group were awarded Li Defa Academician Workstation plaques.
The workstation will provide strong technical support for the development of the live pig industry in Guizhou.
