In recent years, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been improving its education infrastructure to guide the overall development of education in the county.

Efforts have been made to enhance the construction of education infrastructure, with nearly 500 million yuan ($68.43 million) invested and the completion of 10 schools, adding 6,300 new enrollment slots.
The expansion and renovation of schools such as Liuguang Town Central Primary School and Liutun Town Central Primary School have also increased enrollment slots by 3,240.
During summer break this year, the education department of Xiuwen carried out campus maintenance, further improvising the campus environment.
Furthermore, Xiuwen issued a three-year action plan (2023-2025) this year for comprehensive and deepening education reforms, which has led to rapid improvement in the management of schools and teaching practices.
