Inner tube-producing project starts trial operation in Xiuwen

Guizhou Qianjin Rubber & Plastics Technology Co held a trial production ceremony for the first phase of its project, which will produce 1.2 million inner tubes and 1.2 million rim tapes annually.

The project is located in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

With a total investment of 70.15 million yuan ($9.58 million), the first phase of the project will produce 300,000 natural rubber inner tubes, 400,000 neoprene inner tubes, and 500,000 rim tapes per year.

After reaching full production, it is expected to generate 106.99 million yuan in annual output, directly employing 170 people and indirectly driving the development of upstream and downstream industries such as agriculture, logistics, and other service industries.

The second phase of the project will focus on the production of value-added products such as rubber caterpillar tracks and air springs.

The project started construction earlier this year and has received strong support from the Xiuwen county government and relevant departments. It has also received strong guidance from Guiyang Industrial Investment Co and Guiyang Industrial and Commercial Asset Management Co.
