Jiangxi hospital offers free clinic, lecture in Xiuwen

The Jiangxi Anti-Cancer Association held a lecture on the theme of cancer prevention and control at Xiuwen People's Hospital in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 26.

Sun Zhengkui from Jiangxi Cancer Hospital led a team to participate in the lecture and conduct the free clinic.

Sun hails from Xiuwen and ranks as the first medical doctor from Xiuwen People's Hospital to obtain a doctoral degree.

During the free clinic, many people who came for consultations brought their medical records, test reports, and imaging examination reports to the hospital for orderly diagnoses and consultations.

They provided professional guidance and advice, allowing the people of Xiuwen to enjoy the high-quality specialized medical services of a top-tier hospital and doctors, right at their doorstep.

During the lecture, five medical experts from Jiangxi Cancer Hospital, including Sun, gave detailed explanations on a range of topics.

The event promoted the in-depth communication between the two hospitals, and popularized the concepts of early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and standardized tumor treatment.
