Raft of projects break ground in Xiuwen

A groundbreaking ceremony for key projects being undertaken by Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, this month was held on May 22, at the construction site of one being carried out by Guiyang Haida Biotechnology Co which will result in an annual output of 240,000 metric tons of biological compound feed.

With a total investment of 631 million yuan ($89.54 million) yuan, 14 projects started construction that day, including five related to new-type urbanization, six involving new-type industrialization, and three related to the further industrialization of tourism.

The project by Guiyang Haid Biotechnology Co has a total investment of 100 million yuan. The company plans to build four livestock and poultry feed production lines with a planned annual output of 240,000 tons.

The project will mainly include production workshops, raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses, guard rooms, comprehensive office buildings, and related supporting equipment and facilities.

After completion, it will realize an annual output value of about 800 million yuan, an annual tax of about 4.5 million yuan, and provide employment for more than 100 people.
