Key projects in Xiuwen start construction

Nine key projects of Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, started construction on Jan 28, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by officials including Guan Qingliang, Party secretary of Xiuwen, and Xie Guobo, deputy Party secretary of Xiuwen and head of Xiuwen county people's government.

With a total investment of 1.79 billion yuan ($263.93 million), the nine projects focus on new-type industrialization, tourism industrialization, and people's livelihoods.
