Xiuwen experiences first heavy snowfall of winter

Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, experienced the first heavy snow of winter on Dec 27.

The snowfall attracted many locals to come out and enjoy the wintry scenes.

Adults tramped in the snow to look for plum blossoms and to take pictures, while children made snowmen and had snowball fights.
