Xiuwen hospital distributes free TCM COVID-19 decoction

Xiuwen County People's Hospital in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, distributed an anti-epidemic Chinese medicine decoction to locals free of charge on Dec 21, which is expected to help enhance immunity and reduce risk of infection.

The decoction is recommended by Ge Zhengxing, an expert at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Xiuwen County People's Hospital.

It is suitable for the general population and has the effects of nourishing qi and strengthening the outside of the body, removing moisture and expelling heat.

Professional Chinese medicine physicians adjust prescriptions according to every individual's health situation.

Xiuwen County People's Hospital has participated in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. The free distribution of traditional Chinese medicine decoction will last for five days, and more than 4,000 doses will be distributed every day.
