Since the start of the year, Xiuwen county in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has focused on its leading industry of advanced equipment manufacturing and its featured industry of ecological characteristic food, to actively promote investment.
To date, Xiuwen has identified 100 projects around its industrial layout, including 20 related to prefabricated buildings, 20 involved in mountain agricultural machinery, 20 related to tourism equipment, 20 related to emergency equipment and 20 related to specialty foods.
Currently, there are 18 projects under negotiation for investment promotions, involving a total investment of about 93.49 billion yuan ($13.14 billion).
This year, the county has introduced 19 key new industrial projects with a total investment of 16.78 billion yuan.
Moreover, a number of projects will start operating, such as the Yonghui Supermarket Guizhou Supply Chain Industrial Park, the Shouyang headquarters and logistics distribution center and a high-end school affiliated to Beijing Foreign Studies University.
