Tire manufacturer on its way to intelligent transformation

Guizhou Tyre Co in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is one of the country's major production, export and supporting bases for construction machinery tires, as well as a tire manufacturer with a complete range of commercial tire specifications.

Its products are exported to more than 130 countries and regions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and South Africa, with annual exports accounting for more than 25 percent of its total sales.

The company's production line supported by 5G private network technology has realized wireless industrial interconnection and workshop production scheduling.

Here, a tire must undergo rubber mixing, semi-parts, molding, vulcanization, and inspection, all of which are information-based and intelligent high-quality manufacturing processes.

In 2021, the company ranked 313th among China's 500 Most Valuable Brands with a value of 23.2 billion yuan ($3.22 billion), up 49 places from 2020.
