Xiuwen stands out in business environment assessment

In 2021, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked second among 88 counties, cities, districts, and special zones in the province in terms of business environment. It ranked first in the city of Guiyang.

The county has continued to optimize its business environment by improving government services for individuals and enterprises. So far, 99.29 percent of government services in the county can be handled at one window.

Throughout the year, financial institutions in the county provided 8.22 billion yuan ($125.54 million) in loans to small and micro-sized enterprises and other inclusive organizations and individuals.

The county's government integrated funds will also provide 33.27 million yuan in interest discounts for enterprises and 175 million yuan in guarantees for 44 enterprises.

Xiuwen attracted 163 new industrial projects in 2021 with a total investment of 33.41 billion yuan.

In an effort to ensure that the projects start, finish, and begin operating as soon as possible, Xiuwen is working to solve problems and difficulties facing major projects in a timely manner.

The county also accelerated the construction of infrastructure and supporting facilities such as roads, water, electricity, gas, communication, sewage in industrial parks and enterprise landing areas to optimize the environment in industrial parks.
