Xiuwen taxation authority helps develop agricultural enterprises

In recent years, with a series of policies to support agriculture and tax and fee reductions, the kiwi fruit industry in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has continued to grow, helping villagers increase their incomes and promoting high-quality rural revitalization.

The Xiuwen county taxation authority has given full play to its taxation function, supported the development and growth of enterprises involved in agriculture, and accelerated the development of the agricultural industry.

According to statistics, from January to September this year, the Xiuwen county taxation authority promoted taxes for agricultural-related enterprises in its jurisdiction more than 20 times, reducing taxes and fees by 84.01 million yuan ($13.13 million).

Guizhou Shengdi Organic Agriculture Co based in Xiuwen county currently has 1,445 mu (96.33 hectares) of boutique fruit demonstration gardens, including 441 mu of kiwi fruit.

"The company has enjoyed more than 500,000 yuan in added-value tax benefits, and the Xiuwen county taxation authority has also provided a more convenient and efficient tax environment so that we can invest released funds into production and operation to further accelerate development," said Lu Chunlin, the person in charge of Guizhou Shengdi Organic Agriculture Co.

Meanwhile, the Xiuwen county taxation authority has provided taxpayers with "package-style" taxation services, offering one-on-one, face-to-face, hand-to-hand publicity and guidance to create a policy environment and service atmosphere that is more conducive to the growth of small and micro enterprises.

Through measures such as targeted publicity and guidance, convenient tax payment, and easy financing, the authority has strengthened taxation guidance for agricultural enterprises, helping such enterprises develop.
