In recent years, Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been focusing on big data and promoting the deep integration of big data and the real economy.

Many companies in the county use big data to promote technological innovation, helping them shift from manual labor to big data intelligent manufacturing.

Xiuwen-based Guizhou Tyre Co is currently the largest tire manufacturer in western China. In 2020, the company launched the construction of the 5G fully connected tire factory project to promote the connection of 5G networks and production equipment, filling a gap in the field of intelligent tire manufacturing.

The project has received 17.06 million yuan ($2.67 million) in investment and debugging of the 5G industrial internet private network has been completed.

Another company, Guizhou Hao1duo Dairy Co, has built an integrated big data management system for milk sourcing, production, marketing, and management based on automation.

Intelligent management in the production process has been significantly improved and product quality and safety have become more controllable.

In 2020, Xiuwen county's big data companies' main business revenue was valued at 116 million yuan, with an annual target completion rate of 105.45 percent. Three projects won provincial-level big data and real economy integration benchmark projects while three projects won municipal level ones.
