Xiuwen focuses on industrial transformation and upgrading

Xiuwen county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will promote industrial transformation and upgrading and improve the industrial development chain to achieve high-quality development.

This year, the county will introduce six new industrial projects and cultivate three middle- and high-end consumer goods manufacturing companies, focusing on industries of advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy and materials, and medicine and health.

It will also accelerate the upgrading of traditional business districts and traditional business enterprises to achieve high-quality development of commerce and industry.

In addition, the county will support the development of industries such as entertainment, accommodation, packaging, decorating, intermediary agent, housekeeping and auto trading to meet the diverse needs of people.

To ensure that industrial investments exceed 3 billion yuan ($423.38 million), the county will provide support for its five pharmaceutical companies such as Guiyang Dechangxiang Pharmaceutical Co and Guiyang Green Sun Pharmaceutical Co, and encourage the growth and development of Guizhou Dongyi Medical Devices Co. 

The county will also launch cross-border e-commerce business and cultivate two cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
