Ding Xiongjun, secretary of the Party group and director of Guizhou Energy Administration, has inspected progress on the construction of the Guizhou Energy Group Maidasheng Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Liquefaction Plant Project on June 3.
The plant must be put into operation as soon as possible in order for the local government to provide high-quality and efficient services to enterprises, Ding said.
The project is located in Jiuchang town, Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with a total investment of 773.3 million yuan ($109.27 million).

Covering an area of 233 mu (15.53 hectares), it will create one million cubic meters of LNG and 200,000 cu m of compressed natural gas every day.
It will mainly use domestic and foreign advanced mixed refrigeration technology. The LNG is sent to the storage tank, and then pumped to the vehicle through a series of processes such as measurement, pressurization, purification, condensation and liquefaction.
The project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of the year, with an annual output value of 1.02 billion yuan, as well as profits and taxes of 130 million yuan.
In addition, it will help solve local employment issues by creating jobs for 100 local people upon its completion.
