The government of Xiuwen county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, held talks on May 7 with two companies -- Rongtong Agricultural Development Group and Guizhou Renruikang Investment Co -- about projects.
Guizhou Renruikang Investment Co plans to build a major health care complex in the county.
It will include a five-star hotel, a grade 3A hospital -- the highest level in China's three-tier hospital grading system -- a rehabilitation center, and a comprehensive Chinese culture education system and will occupy 4,400 mu (293 hectares) in Xiuwen.
Yang Xianping, chairperson of Renruikang, said the company will spare no effort in pushing forwards the health care complex, which would contribute to the county's development.
Sun Huazhong, Party chief of the county, said the investment by Renruikang would be of great value, since it is in line with the national concept of "Big Health".
Sun said the complex would boost local economic and social development, help raise the county's profile and expand its urban area.
Meanwhile Wang Jiu, general manager of Rongtong's business in Kunming said after the talks that he supported investment projects in Xiuwen county.
Wang pledged to serve as a bridge between his company and the county in potential projects.
He added that he hoped to strengthen communications between the two sides.
